Beaumont House

One of four brothers who served as Revolutionary soldiers, Samuel Beaumont built a small farm house “four miles and 59 rods” from the original meeting house in Lebanon. It was moved to its current site in 1975.

The Beaumont House is owned by the Lebanon Historical Society.

  1. I am a DAR Registrar here in California who has an applicant whose lineage leds to Samuel Beaumont. She would like to establish her membership in the society claiming Samuel as her patriot. Samuel is not an established patriot in the DAR database.
We are looking for proof of military service as a Revolutionary War soldier. This might be a service record, muster role or pay voucher. Can you help us prove that Samuel Beaumont was a Rev War Soldier?
Sincerely, Judy, on behalf of our chapter’s applicant

      Hi there!
I’ll forward your request for information to the Lebanon Historical Society, but I’m pretty sure that Samuel Beaumont was one of three Beaumont sons who served in the RevWar.
      Thanks for stopping by!
